The original course focused on reflective listening in a professional context, teaching learners to identify content, emotion, and significance in workplace conversations. While the learning objective was strong, the course relied heavily on explanation, avatars, and a more conventional eLearning structure.
The redesign transforms a traditional listening course into an immersive communication mission. Through the fictional Signal Tracking Division, learners identify communication barriers, make decisions in realistic scenarios, and receive immediate feedback that demonstrates how their choices influence the outcome of each conversation.
